Before your appointment - please email or text me the following:

1. Current picture(s) with and without makeup, close enough to see your eye color.

2. Picture(s) of you around the age of 16-20 with your natural (unprocessed) hair color.

3. I will send preparation instructions and a payment link prior to your appointment. PayPal, Venmo or credit card accepted.

Clothing - feel free to wear something V-neck and comfortable as I will be using a drape to neutralize whatever color you’re wearing while I am analyzing you. No turtleneck please ;)

Hair - please bring a hair tie or hair clip, so that we can easily keep your hair behind you/off of your face throughout the draping process. We will cover your hair with a bonnet during the analysis.

Makeup/face products - please do not wear any moisturizer, tinted face products or makeup (including moisturizers/SPFs, foundation, concealer, BB/CC creams, color correctors, blush, bronzer, contour, or mascara). It can really affect the results!

Fake tanning products - please do not use any fake tanners for at two weeks prior to your appointment.

Glasses/Contacts - if you wear contacts please make sure, they are clear and not colored contacts during the analysis. Glasses may be left on if you are unable to see how your skin and face react to different color drapes.

I understand plans sometimes have to be changed. It happens!

If you would like to have your analysis done with a friend, I will offer a reduced rate for a two-person session. Please contact me for pricing.

I am unfortunately only able to accommodate guests who have a booked appointment. This is because a significant part of your service includes education and application pieces that anyone in the room would receive, regardless of if I drape them or not. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: This does not apply to guests who are a previous client of mine who have already received a color analysis from me.

I'm sorry, it is not permissible due to the limitations of studio space and amount of attention required for the analysis.

Clients are asked kindly not to take pictures or video during the session. I will take pictures before the analysis without makeup and possibly video the session. I will also take pictures afterwards draped in your color season with makeup. Pictures and photos taken by me may also be used for further analysis and with permission from the client they may be used for social media and marketing.

If you love the sun, rest assured your skin tans YOUR natural color! Just as long as it’s a natural tan.

If you use self-tanner, please refrain from applying for two weeks before your appointment. We cannot do the analysis if you have a bad sunburn, though. Please take precautions leading up to your appointment.

Note: Each season includes a range of lighter and darker shades, so you might feel more drawn to one end of that spectrum as you tan, and your skin tone changes with the seasons. For example, when you’re tanner, you might find the bolder colors in your palette feel more fitting, while the lighter shades complement you best when your skin is lighter.

No, your season stays the same because it’s based on your skin tone, and your natural hair color. If your hair is dyed, during your analysis we will cover your hair to ensure the most accurate results, but afterward, we can also discuss hair colors that align with your palette if you’re considering a change.

Having gray hair does not change your season. As your gray hair color might soften you while aging, you may find your choose colors from your season palette that are a little less intense.

We use the advanced 16-palette system from the International Image Institute, which provides a more precise and detailed analysis than traditional 4, 10, or 12-season systems. Those older methods may not account for neutral undertones, which could mean you weren’t given the most accurate results. Our system includes a broader range of options, giving you a more specific palette tailored to your unique coloring.
